Sculpture Commission: Solar Tree Sculpture with USB Charging Station

Project Description: The City of Hart Economic & Redevelopment Team invites innovative artists to submit proposals for a unique tree sculpture that incorporates solar panels as leaves, providing a pedestrian-accessible USB charging station. This installation should blend artistic creativity with functional design, harnessing solar energy to offer a sustainable charging solution for downtown visitors. The solar limbs shall be constructed in a way to reduce vandalism and the potential for climbing the sculpture. The base should be prepared to mount to concrete.

Sculpture Commission: Large Troll Fishing on the Bank of Hart Lake
Project Description: The City of Hart Economic & Redevelopment Team seeks a talented artist or team of artists to design and construct a larger-than-life-sized sculpture of a troll fishing on the bank of Hart Lake. The sculpture will be a permanent outdoor installation, designed to blend its natural surroundings. It should be whimsical, imaginative, and constructed primarily from natural elements such as wood, stone, and other organic materials. The piece must be durable and weather-resistant, able to withstand the outdoor elements year-round.

Fall Artwalk: Featured Artists Wanted
Event Description: The Artwalk will feature eight artists whose works will be displayed inside downtown businesses. This special event includes a meet and greet with the artists, allowing participants to engage with the community and share the stories behind their art. In addition, local businesses will offer refreshments at each stop.
